Ikea is known all over the world for its comfortable, affordable, and beautiful furnishing. In India, the concept of ‘Cheap Furnishing’ turned out to be negative in research.
People in India although want to buy products for cheap, they still think that cheap is always low quality, Non-Durable, etc. This would hamper the Ikea sales as it has an image of being affordable. Therefore I wanted to explain to the middle-class target audience that ‘Cheap’ can be good.
